can superstar injured ppl and get away from it? can the super star act like he's god and ignore the 5 key element of being an instructor.
don't believe this but it's really happen back in KL when one Superstar injured another trainee combat instructor on stage in the curve... gosh i can tell you .. and all he can said not HIS FAULT... what the F*CK !! . As a senior instructor, we are supposed to be a role model on stage to members and even the new trainees, that's what we are trained for. as far as i know he didn't even send her to hospital and she out of action for about 2 weeks with ankle injury. that's is really bad of this superstar instructor. i swear to god if i'm Kylie i will drop his licence from teaching cos showing a bad example to all.
lucky i'm not in KL if not that's it lah the instructor will get it from me. guess we have to revisit back to the training manual on SAFETY when teach or TT with other instructor.
I just hope that she's ok now and back in action.

you have to revisit your ethics as an instructor to investigate and evaluate before jumping to conclusion. If the allegations are true, you should approach the instructor and speak to him instead of losing your professionalism to bitchiness.
By the way, I was there, the poor girl tripped on her own.
I think you should check your FACTS before you publish demeaning rumours and untruths of this nature. Maybe you should check directly with that trainee combat instructor- get it out of the horse's mouth!
You weren't here to see it yourself, so it's very unfair of you to act as if you did. And whoever told you about this incident obviously embellished details.
All I'm saying is: if you're a true professional yourself, you would've checked the facts first before saying all these things.

And even if you were in Kylie's position- it'd be a professional screw up to drop someone's licence based on your misguided delusions.
Kylie's a smart and professional woman who can hold it on her own. I doubt she'll want to take any cues from you.

All I can say is that I agree with Anon that one should not broadcast unsubstantiated rumours on one's blog. Please check the facts first especially if one was not physically present at the scene of the incident and has not clarifed with both the "accused" or the "victim".
Sensationalism will attract more readers to the blog but it also reflects on the ethics and professionalism of the blogger.

well basically i'm not saying name at all how can i saying the specific person. second i'm not a master trainer but i'm a senior instructor and i'm giving my pov regarding this. as being an instructor we should care about others and aslo guide them and train them as a good instructor. we are like their big bro or sis, so we have to take care of them. to me is really not fair to the girl regarding this. imagine you are the girl.. injured and the person never said sorry to you ..
i got my witnesses around that day of the incident so this are 100% truth.
i never even want to know about what's happening in KL since i'm now in S'pore. But i really pitty this girl. she not local and was on 2 week mc due to the injury. as i mention ... close your eyes and think just imagine you are the one on the stage that day in pain...

It is not even your "point of view" because you were present not in the class and you heard it from a third or fourth party! It is not fair for you to blog about it and to criticise the instructor without being 100% sure that the facts are accurate.

My dear dear air head Kelvin : Fact No. 1...Mr. Superstar obviously did not tell you about the incident on that day, and from your entries, neither has the victim, Fact No. 2, You were not there to personally witness the situation. You only got to hear about it through you informer. Based on these two facts alone, you should not simply shoot your mouth off and say such rubbish about anyone before establishing the truth. This is scandalous. Now add Fact No. 3, the recollections from your witness/informer definitely differs from Anon, who was there at the scene. The poor girl tripped and fell. It was not a result of any injury inflicted on her by Mr. Superstar. At this point of time, shouldnt you be clarifying the situation with your informer, and get the picture correct, rather than trying to evade the issues and talking about the poor girl's pain? You should do damage control by now. Once you have obtained the correct picture, and Mr. Superstar is clean, you should at least then, be a man for once, and have the decency to admit to your own faults and issue an apology.
Am lost..err, who this superstar again?

as i said before... i'm not on anyone's side. but what's for sure is kelvin and the superstar are both very charismatic instructors. and the poor girl is our future charismatic instructor as well. if we wanna talk about professionalism, they all have it.
in this case, could be both of them are in a wrong side. agreed the superstar didnt injured the poor girl, not even touched her foot/feet when he swiped his foot while the poor girl did her e-kick jump. but, maybe some of them in the studio, think that this is still considered his fault too... despite the no touching leg thing. because of the swipe foot testing occasion, in one way or another had made the poor girl shaky and a bit lost focus & unable to land properly. ok, let's give him a benefit of the doubt that he didnt mean anything behind his action (swipe foot thing) and so nothing near to injure her. it was merely a senior testing a junior.
while on the other part, like i said kelvin may see this in a safety POV and yes, he has the right to disagree. only to disagree. he didnt say anything about complaining to master trainer or kylie or whosoever. his perspective is different from what we the mere mortals think. agreed he shouldnt blog about it, regardless of whoever blog it is. but also agreed as a senior instructor, he has the right to raise the issue of SAFETY. no question about that.
as i said, this has nothing to do with instructor's professionalism because both of them are pro. i want to still believe that. the bottom line is, we expand our views and see this from a different perspective, then we can make this thing better. no mess.

Clean Air: If you read the post again Kelvin didn't actually raise the question of Safety at all. He was more concerned about the fact that Mr Superstar didn't apologize to the trainee. It was clearly an attack on the integrity of Mr Superstar.

two. we have to show concern to anyone in the class. no matter they are members or instuctors.
as instructor we have have to take responsible to anyone injured in the class because is our job. we delever great workout in the same time safety first.

i would like to believe you and i hate to nitpick. but since you addressed this, i think the fact that kelvin stressed on the so called Mr Superstar didn't apologize to the trainee is just in 1 simple line, ok using 1 harsh word. fine. the next line he mentioned that the senior instructors like them are supposed to be a role model for new trainees... something like that. role model is a big word. i would like to believe that it consists of proper attitude on the stage, right cueing, right techniques, right timing... yada² and includes safety.
